Health Market Science Closes Venture Capital Financing

King of Prussia, Pennsylvania  --  Healthcare IT provider Health Market Science has raised $5.6 million in a new round of investment venture capital.

Health Market Science says that it utilizes over 2,500 distinct data sources to maintain a comprehensive and accurate source of healthcare provider information.

Edison Venture Fund led the round, which also included other undisclosed investors.  The company did not disclose how it would use the funding proceeds.
