iScience Interventional Clears $2 Million Financing

Menlo Park, California  --  Medical device company iScience Interventional has raised $2 million in its fifth round of institutional venture capital financing.

iScience is developing micro catheter and imaging technologies for what it calls interventional ophthalmology.

Affinity Venture Group led the round which included L Capital Partners, Johnson & Johnson Development Corporation and Clarian Health Ventures.  The company said it would use the funding to hence its existing position in the marketplace and continue development for its glaucoma technologies.
