Altea Therapeutics Raises Venture Capital Funding

Atlanta, Georgia  --  Pharmaceutical company Altea Therapeutics has secured a new round of strategic venture capital financing.

Altea is developing pharmaceutical products based on a class of advanced transdermal patches that deliver drugs in a more convenient, painless and cost effective manner.

Amylin Pharmaceuticals and Lilly Ventures made the investment. The company did not disclose how the funding proceeds would be used.
