CeraPedics Nets Series B Venture Capital Financing

Westminster, Colorado  --  Medical device company CeraPedics has secured $15 million in its second round of institutional venture capital funding.

CeraPedics is developing orthopedic bone substitute products that utilize its proprietary small peptide called P-15.

NGN Capital was the lead investor in the round, which also included OrbiMed. The company said that the financing would be used to increase its investment in sales and marketing as well as fund ongoing FDA clinical trials. For some of its technologies under development.
