Knewton Nets $6 Million Series B Venture Capital

New York, New York  --  Online education company Knewton has secured $6 million in its second round of venture capital financing.

Knewton has created a college preparation test "adaptive learning engine," that customizes educational content to meet the needs of each student.

Investors in the round included Bessemer Venture Partners, First Round Capital, New Atlantic Ventures and Accel Partners. The company said it would use the funding proceeds to continue development of its open platform.
