OPX Receives Second Round Venture Capital Financing

Boulder, Colorado  --  Biotechnology company OPX Biotechnologies has garnered $17.5 million in its series B round of institutional venture capital investment.

OPX is developing technology to optimize the microbes used for producing biofuels and bio refined chemicals.

Braemar Energy Ventures led the round, which also included Altira Group, Mohr Davidow Ventures and X/Seed Capital. The company did not disclose how it will use the funding proceeds.
