San Francisco, California -- Internet virtual community company Linden Lab announced the two winners of its Linden Prize.
The prize awards $10,000 to those winners who create virtual world projects that have a tangible impact on the real world. The two co-winners were Studio Wikitecture and Virtual Ability.
“How do you measure the value of a project? Should making a deep impact on a select group of individuals weigh heavier than making an impact on a large population? Ultimately that wasn’t a question we could answer, so we decided to honor both projects,” said Mark Kingdon, CEO, Linden Lab.
