Slacker Garners Series C Venture Capital Funding

San Diego, California  --  Internet company Slacker has raised $9.6 million in its third round of institutional venture capital investment.

Slacker provides an online service that delivers personal radio that is customized for each listener and is available at home, in the car or on the go.

Investors in the round included Centennial Investors, Rho Ventures, Austin Ventures, Mission Ventures and Sevin Rosen Funds. Proceeds purposes were not disclosed by the company.
