Rockville, Maryland  --  IT company RedXDefense announced the launch of a new streamlined system for the collection and analysis of trace explosives data.

Called the XPAKi system, the application works with the XPAK portable trace explosives detection system and the i-MODULE geolocation and data logging tool.

CEO, Regina Dugan, comments, “We have long believed in the wide scale deployment of rugged detectors and the systematic collection and visualization of trace explosives data as a means for identifying bomb makers and bomb-making facilities. The introduction of the XPAKi is the next step in our commitment to this objective. Our products are motivated by a new conceptual framework for fighting terrorism that is intent on identifying the source of the explosive activity so that it can be disrupted and eliminated. Every feature, every product and solution, is focused on this goal.”
