Terraliance Closes Venture Capital Funding Round

Newport Beach, California  --  Energy exploration company Terraliance has secured a new round of venture capital funds.

Terraliance has developed aircraft-based remote sensing platforms to improve energy exploration success.

Investors in the round included Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers, DAG Ventures, Passport Capital and other undisclosed investors. The company did not say how the funding proceeds would be used.
