Breach Security Secures New Venture Capital Financing

Carlsbad, California  --  Web security company Breach Security has garnered $2.2 million in a new round of venture capital financing.

Breach says that it is a leader in the emerging market for "intelligent Web application security."

Investors in the round included Enterprise Partners Venture Capital, Pitango Venture Capital, Evergreen Partners and Ascend Venture Group. The company did not disclose how the funding proceeds would be used.
