GreenRoad Gets $15 Million Venture Capital Funding

Redwood City, California  --  IT company GreenRoad has secured $15 million in a new round of institutional venture capital investment.

GreenRoad says that it "develops driver safety and risk management technologies that reduce accident rates and lower costs."

DAG Ventures and Benchmark Capital led the round, which also included Virgin Green Fund, Amadeus Capital and Balderton Capital. The company did not disclose how the funding proceeds would be used.
