Semprius Sees Series B Venture Capital Funding

Durham, North Carolina  --  Semiconductor company Semprius has closed on a $6.4 million venture capital funding round.

Semprius sells a process for printing high performance single crystal semiconductor's on a variety of substrates.

Investors in the round included Arch Venture Partners, Applied Materials Ventures, IllinoisVentures, Intersouth Partners, In-Q-Tel and GVC Investment Fund.  The company did not disclose how the funding proceeds would be used.
