Cappella Sings With $17 Million Venture Capital Funding

Ballybrit Galway, Ireland  --  Medical device company Cappella has secured $17.3 million for its series C round of institutional venture capital financing.

Cappella has developed what it calls "a novel solution for the treatment of coronary bifurcated disease."

Fountain Healthcare Partners and Mitsui & Co. Venture Partners led the round, which also included Enterprise Ireland, Polytechnos Venture Partners And ACT Venture Capital.  The company said the funding proceeds would be used to finance the launch of its new stent for bifurcated vascular disease.
