CeNeRx BioPharma Raises Series C Venture Capital

Cary, North Carolina  --  Biotech company CeNeRx BioPharma has received $9 million in its third round of venture capital funding.

CeNeRx is developing therapeutics to treat diseases related to neurotransmitters and other central nervous system aspects.

Aisling Capital, L Capital Partners and Pappas Ventures made the investment. The company said it would use the proceeds to advance the pipeline of its preclinical stage compounds.
