Collecta Collects New Venture Capital Investment

United States -- Internet search company Collecta has raised $1.85 million in a new round of venture capital financing.
Collecta has developed a search engine that monitors the update streams of popular sites, blogs and social media.
Investors in the round were not disclosed, nor was how the company intended to use the funding proceeds.
