Memphis, Tennessee -- Medical device company Active Implants has received $10 million in its third round of institutional venture capital financing.
Active implants is developing "a new material that may be used to create longer-lasting implants, more resistance to deterioration and better able to fight off infection."
Investors in the round were not disclosed, nor was how the company intended to use the funding proceeds. |
