Control4 Raises $17 Million Venture Capital Round

Salt Lake City, Utah  --  IT company Control4 has secured $17.3 million in its series F round of institutional venture capital financing.

Control4 has developed technology that utilizes wired and wireless networking standards to provide home automation and control applications.

Investors in the round included Foundation Capital, Frazier Technology Ventures, Thomas Weisel Venture Partners and vSpring Capital.  The company said that a portion of the funding proceeds would be used to "extend Control4's sales channels."
