Hamburg, Germany  --  Mobile navigation company Navigon AG has announced the launch of a new mobile navigation application for the Apple iPhone platform.

Called the MobileNavigator Lite, the free software includes the same range of functions as the company's full navigation solution, although without active route guidance via GPS.

“NAVIGON’s new MobileNavigator will offer iPhone users an easy to use navigation solution with many of NAVIGON’s hallmark features,” said Egon Minar, CEO of NAVIGON AG. “With the launch of the free LITE version, we wanted to give users the opportunity to experience our new software before buying it.”
