L-1 Identity Solutions Launches Live Scan Device

Stamford, Connecticut  --  Identity management systems company L-1 Identity Solutions (NYSE: ID) has announced the launch of a new life scan fingerprint solution designed for the high volume civil identification market.

The device, called Agile TP, is Kimball of capturing a full set of flat fingerprints in less than 10 seconds.

Richard A. Agostinelli, President of the Biometrics Division of L-1 Identity Solutions stated, “We offer more options and flexibility for any civil application where live scans are used, giving our customers the ability to pick and choose depending on their budgets and requirements. The addition of Agile TP puts us in a strong position to take advantage of a rapidly growing market for biometric civil ID applications.”
