DigitalGlobe Launches Web Crisis Event Service

Longmont, Colorado  --  Imaging service company DigitalGlobe announced the launch of a new crisis event service to be delivered over the Web.

The service aims to provide pre-and post event satellite imagery to assist companies and organizations in emergency planning, response and recovery.

Imagery of will be provided by the company's various satellites. The company says it has images covering over 660,000,000 km² of the earth.
