Lat49 Raises Series A Venture Capital Funding

Vancouver, BC  --  Internet website network Lat49 has raised $1.29 million in its first round of venture capital funding.

Lat49 is an advertising network made up of over 120 websites that deliver location specific travel, sports, local and real estate information via online maps.

PenderFund Capital Management led the round, which also included Discovery Capital. Rosie's purposes from the financing were not disclosed.
