Acquia Accepts $8 Million Second Venture Capital Round

Andover, Massachusetts  --  Software company Acquia has secured $8 million in a second round of institutional venture capital financing.

Acquia provides value-added software services and products for the Drupal application platform.

Investors in the round were North Bridge Venture Partners and Sigma Partners.  The company did not disclose how it would use the funding proceeds.
