5min Gets Series B Venture Capital Funding

New York, New York  --  Internet company 5min Ltd. has garnered $7.5 million in its second round of institutional venture capital financing.

5min says that its goal is to "create the first communal life Videopedia allowing users from all over the globe to contribute their knowledge..."

Globespan Capital Partners led the funding round, which also included Spark Capital. The company did not disclose how the funding proceeds would be used.
