SecureWorks Secures New Venture Capital Financing

Atlanta, Georgia  --  IT security company SecureWorks has raised $31.5 million in a new round of venture capital investment.

SecureWorks says that it "prevents network intrusions at the perimeter, firewall and host levels."

Investors in the round included The Bank Of New York Mellon, Noro-Moseley Partners, ITC Holdings, Alliance Technology Ventures and other undisclosed investors. The company did not disclose how the funding proceeds would be used.
