Blue Spark Raises Series B Venture Capital Financing

Westlake, Ohio  --  Alternative energy sector company Blue Spark Technologies has secured an undisclosed amount in its second round of institutional venture capital funding.

Blue Spark develops "flexible, printed, "green," proprietary power source solutions for battery-powered printed electronic systems."

Investors in the round included Early Stage Partners and Sunbridge Partners. The company said that the investment would be used to increase production of its 1.5 V carbon zinc battery.
