Paris, France  --  WAN optimization company Ipanema Technologies announced the launch of what it calls a simplified application centric VPN service creation methodology for the telecom industry.

Called UNDOSTRES, the service allows telecom companies to create a variety of managed services.

“One of the Telco’s big challenges is to build scalable, profitable, industrial strength managed services. Reselling a technology as a network integrator or delivering a bespoke managed service to an enterprise is not part of the Telcos strategy. Their need for industrialization is bigger and requires the appropriate technology and engagement processes fitting their business model. Ipanema had the technology: the SALSA platform proved many time to be extremely efficient and successful. Thanks to UNDOSTRES! we have now a simple and sharp engagement process for the Telcos” says Jean-Francois Rousseau, Director Market Development, Telcos and Services Providers at Ipanema Technologies.
