Theraclone Sciences Raises New Venture Capital Round

Seattle, Washington  --  Biotechnology company Theraclone Sciences has secured a round of development funding.

Theraclone is a "discovery stage biotech focused on the development of novel therapeutic antibodies for the treatment of infectious disease and inflammation."

The International AIDS Vaccine Initiative was the lead investor in the round, which included other undisclosed investors.  The company did not disclose how it would use the funding proceeds.
