People Capital Nets Series B Venture Capital Funding

New York, New York  --  Internet company People Capital has raised $500,000 in a second round of venture capital financing.

People Capital helps students find lending sources using merit data such as GPA, standardized test scores, college and major information.

Investors in the round were not disclosed.  The company said it would use the funding to "accelerate technological development of its peer-to-peer lending platform."
