Groupon To Launch Local Site In Phoenix

Phoenix, Arizona  --  Website company Groupon has announced the launch of its local shopping website in the Phoenix, Arizona area.

The company negotiates deals with businesses and offers group/collective buying deals to consumers if a minimum number of people agreed to buy.

"Groupon brings buyers and sellers together in a fun and collaborative way that offers the consumer a great deal that they can't get anywhere else and delivers sales directly to the merchant," said Groupon founder Andrew Mason.
