Oticon Medical Receives Hearing System Clearance

Sweden -- Global medical device company Oticon Medical said that it has received marketing clearance from the US FDA for its bone anchored hearing system.
Called the Ponto System, it features a computer platform that enables a more precise match between the patient and the hearing sound processor.
The company claims that the new system "combines exceptional sound quality, improved aesthetics, user-friendliness and reliability."
