MicroPhage Launches Bacterial ID Platform Study

Longmont, Colorado  --  Biotechnology diagnostics equipment company MicroPhage announced the launch of a new clinical trial for its bacterial identification platform.

The company says the platform was developed to more rapidly identify bacterial infections such as staph bacteria and determine antibiotic susceptibility or resistance.

Platform requires no instrumentation and contains two small reaction tubes for incubating blood culture specimens.
