Liquidia Raises $7 Million Venture Capital Financing

Research Triangle Park, North Carolina  --  Biotechnology company Liquidia Technologies has secured $7 million in its third round of institutional venture capital investment.

Liquidia is developing engineered drug therapies for the diagnosis and treatment of human disease using what it calls Print particles.

Canaan Partners led the round, which also included Pappas Ventures, New Enterprise Associates and Firelake Capital.  The company did not disclose how the funding proceeds would be used.
