Microvi Biotech Clears Series A Venture Capital

Union City, California  --  Biotechnology company Microvi Biotech has secured its first round of venture capital investment.

Microvi is developing what it calls clean biotechnologies "that provide innovative and energy-saving solutions for complex water problems."

Investors in the round were not disclosed.  The company said it plans to use the proceeds from the funding to expand product development.
