DNAnexus Clears First Venture Capital Financing

Palo Alto, California  --  Biocomputation startup company DNAnexus has garnered $1.55 million in its series A venture capital financing round.

DNAnexus says that it "aims to become the leading computer platform of the genome era."

First Round Capital led the round, which also included other investors.  The company did not disclose how the funding proceeds would be used.
