AEB Reels In Series C Venture Capital Investment

Wilmington, Massachusetts  --  Energy technology company Advanced Electron Beams has secured $14.2 million in its third round of institutional venture capital financing.

AEB has developed technology that "captures the power of electron beams in a cost-effective, compact form factor."

Flagship Ventures led the round, which included Atlas Venture, General Catalyst Partners, Rockport Capital Partners and other undisclosed investors.  The company said it would use the funding proceeds to accelerate its sales initiatives and develop new applications.
