Avere Systems Secures $15 Million Venture Capital

Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania  --  Storage components company Avere Systems has garnered $15 million in a new round of institutional venture capital financing.

Avere has not launched yet but intends to provide next-generation storage systems and services to enterprises.

Investors in the round were Menlo Ventures and Norwest Venture Partners.  The company did not disclose how it would use the funding proceeds.
