Altius Education Raises $8 Million Venture Capital

San Francisco, California  --  Internet technology company Altius Education has secured $8 million in a new round of institutional venture capital investment.

Altius helps academic institutions bring their course curricula online.

Maveron LLC was the lead investor in the round, which also included Spark Capital and other undisclosed investors.  The company did not disclose how the funding proceeds would be used.
