Advaxis Raises $5 Million In Venture Capital Funding

North Brunswick, New Jersey  --  Biotechnology company Advaxis has secured $5 million in a new round of venture capital financing.

Advaxis says that it is using a bio-engineered bacterium to "activate the immune system to treat cancer, infectious disease or allergic syndromes."

Investors in around when not disclose, nor was how the company intends to use the funding proceeds.
