Foursquare Nets New Venture Capital Financing

New York, New York  --  Mobile technology company Foursquare has secured $1.35 million from two institutional venture capital investors.

Foursquare says that it is developing technologies to help consumers "find new ways to explore the city."

Investors in the Round Included Union Square Ventures and O'Reilly AlphaTech Ventures.  The company did not disclose how the funding proceeds would be used.
