GI Dynamics Scores $15 Million Strategic Investment

Lexington, Massachusetts  --  Medical device company GI Dynamics has landed $15 million in a new round of strategic corporate investment.

GI Dynamics develops devices that are delivered into the gastrointestinal tract using minimally invasive technologies.

Medical device maker Medtronic made the investment.  Proceeds purposes from the funding were not disclosed by the company.
