Samsung Partners With Luminus Devices On New Projector

Las Vegas, Nevada  --  Samsung will utilize the LED light source technology created by Luminus Devices, according to the companies.

Called the Phlatlight LED PT-120, the light source will power what Samsung says is the first LED-based data front projector.

LEDs are a compelling light source for front projectors, due to their high reliability.  This reduces the need to replace projector lamps over time.
