MicroChips Garners New Venture Capital Investment

Bedford, Massachusetts  --  Micro reservoir technology company MicroChips has secured $16.5 million in new venture capital financing.

MicroChips has developed a family of micro reservoirs that are incorporated into existing products to make them function better.

InterWest Partners was the lead investor in the round, which also included Polaris Venture Partners, Novartis Venture Fund, Flybridge Capital Partners, Medtronic, Saints Capital, Intersouth Partners, Care Capital and other undisclosed investors.
