Advanced Cardiac Advances With Series B

Laguna Beach, California -- Medical device company Advanced Cardiac Therapeutics has raised $5 million in a new round of institutional venture capital funding.
Advanced Cardiac utilizes microwave radiometry technology to manufacture products for use in the electrophysiology field.
NBGI Ventures led the round, which also included other undisclosed investors. The company said that the funding is expected to support its European commercialization efforts.
