African Diaspora Marketplace Entrepreneurs Get Grants

Washington, DC  --  At the African Diaspora Marketplace, entrepreneurs were awarded matching grants to fund their business plans for sub-Saharan Africa startups.

14 businesses in seven countries were awarded matching grants ranging in amounts from $50,000 - $100,000.

The grants were for businesses ranging from a commercial plant tissue culture business to an SMS messaging service for farmers and buyers in Ethiopia.
