FloDesign Wind Sails With Series B Venture Capital

Wilbraham, Massachusetts  --  Alternative energy company FloDesign Wind Turbine has secured $34.5 million in its second round of institutional venture capital investment.

FloDesign develops the latest technology wind turbines for electrical power grid production.

Investors in the round included Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers, Goldman Sachs, Technology Partners and VantagePoint Venture Partners.  Proceeds purposes from the financing were not disclosed.
