Ciris Energy Receives Venture Capital Investment

Centennial, Colorado  --  Alternative energy technology company Ciris Energy has secured a new round of venture capital financing.

Ciris intends to develop clean energy from what it calls "abundant, low value carbon sources on a large scale."

Investors in the round included Braemar Energy Ventures, GE Energy Financial Services and Rho Ventures.  The company did not disclose how the funding proceeds will be used.
