Segetis Sees Series B Venture Capital Funding

Golden Valley, Minnesota  --  Clean technology company Segetis has landed $17.24 million in its second round of institutional venture capital investment.

Segetis says that it is creating a variety of bio-based chemical products from forestry and renewable agricultural feedstocks.

Investors in the round were not disclosed, nor was how the company intends to use the funding proceeds.
