Stanford Law School Creates Legal Informatics Venture

Palo Alto, California  --  The Stanford Law School announced the launch of a private venture in providing legal informatics to commercial users.

Called Lex Machina, the project is an outgrowth of the Stanford Intellectual Property Litigation Clearinghouse, which was developed as an online research tool.

The clearinghouse will remain free to academicians, judges, policymakers and public interest researchers and includes real-time data summaries, industry indices and trend analysis together with a fulltext search engine.
