Acton Pharma Gets $15 Million Series A Venture Capital

Marlborough, Massachusetts  --  Respiratory pharmaceutical company Acton Pharmaceuticals has secured $15 million in a first round of institutional venture capital investment.

Acton is developing pharmaceutical products to treat pulmonary, allergic and other respiratory related diseases.

Sequoia Capital led the round, which also included other undisclosed investors.  The company did not disclose how the funding proceeds would be used.
